In order to expand the country’s talent pool, the Association supports Kazakhstani youth who want to connect their lives with the oil and gas and energy industries of the country. Promising, active, promising students and students of specialized educational institutions can receive personalized grants and scholarships from the KAZENERGY Association.
In addition, grants are provided for teachers of oil and gas and IT disciplines of technical and vocational education institutions to support scientific and educational activities.

Presidential Scholarship for students and undergraduates
External partner: Ministry of Education and Science.
The scholarship is aimed at stimulating research and educational and cognitive activities of students and undergraduates; supporting the most talented and gifted students and undergraduates; promoting the formation of intellectual potential.
The scholarship is awarded to full-time students from the 3rd year and undergraduates from the second year of study who study only with “excellent” (A, A-), both on the basis of a state educational order and on a paid basis.
Citizenship: The Republic of Kazakhstan.
The scholarship is awarded to the following categories of students:
1) winners of national and international Olympiads, creative contests, sports competitions, festivals or who are the authors of discoveries, inventions;
2) having publications in collections of scientific papers, in national and international scientific journals;
3) actively engaged in research work, whose successes are confirmed by diplomas, diplomas, certificates, certificates;
4) taking an active part in the social, cultural and sports life of educational organizations.
The appointment of a scholarship is carried out by order of the rector of the higher educational institution on the basis of a decision of the academic council.
The scholarship is awarded for one academic period.
The scholarship may be awarded repeatedly to the same person in accordance with the decision of the Academic Council of higher educational institutions.
The decision of the Academic Council of the higher educational institution on awarding scholarships for the next academic period is made no later than two weeks before the start of the academic period and is sent to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan with a list of students and undergraduates.
Under equal conditions, they have the advantage:
– orphans and children left without parental care;
– disabled since childhood, children with disabilities.
Scholarships are paid monthly within the limits of the funds provided in the republican budget for the corresponding financial year.

Grant from the public fund “to the people of Kazakhstan”
The purpose of the Program: The charitable program “Educational grants of the Kazakhstan Khalkyna Public Foundation” is aimed at increasing the accessibility of higher education through the establishment of educational grants of the Kazakhstan Khalkyna Public Foundation.
The Grant provision involves:
1) gratuitous payment of higher education with the award of a bachelor’s degree for the entire period of full-time study;
2) payment of a scholarship – a monthly amount of money provided to the student to partially cover the costs of food, accommodation and the purchase of educational literature for 10 months (annually), except for the period of summer holidays.
Target group of beneficiaries: Applicants for an educational grant may be citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
1) from low-income families in rural areas, small and single-industry towns;
2) orphaned children, or those left without parental care until adulthood;
3) those with disabilities;
4) from families raising disabled children;
5) children of the deceased citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan during the tragic events of January 2022;
6) injured children during the tragic events of January 2022;
7) children of deceased citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who were injured in emergency situations (based on the decision of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation).
The maximum age of participation in the Program is 29 years old inclusive.
The condition for obtaining a grant. In order to become a candidate for a grant, an applicant must score threshold points at the UNT. The Foundation also takes into account the scores received for creative exams.
Grants from Ural Oil and Gas LLP
The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Ural Oil and Gas LLP have signed a contract for the production of gas and condensate at the Rozhkovskoye field located in the West Kazakhstan region.
In order to fulfill contractual obligations, the Partnership, during the mining period, is obliged to finance training, advanced training and retraining of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan according to the List of the most in-demand specialties of the energy industry.
In accordance with the requirements of the Rules, the financing of training is carried out according to the List, as well as without limitation in the areas indicated in the List, the following categories of persons:
– persons with disabilities;
– one or both parents are persons with disabilities;
– families with or raising children with disabilities;
– persons suffering from severe forms of certain chronic diseases listed in the list of diseases;
– orphans and children left without parental care, under the age of twenty–nine, who lost their parents before adulthood;
– large families;
