“Foreign education: opportunities and prospects”
In honor of the 25-th anniversary of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University and the 30-th anniversary of the state program “Bolashak”, on November 14, a meeting on the topic “Foreign education: opportunities and prospects” was organized on the platform of the educational institution “Language platform”. The event was opened as a moderator by Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, associate professor S.M. Bakhisheva, who introduced the guests of the event.
The event was attended by graduates of our educational institution and specially invited guests who studied in near and far abroad countries under the international Bolashak program, and students.
A graduate of WKITU, Mirbolat Nurzhanov, who currently holds the position of deputy akim of Uralsk, spoke at the dialogue platform, who in 2019-2021 studied under the Bolashak program at the University of Strathclyde in the UK with a degree in Project Management and Innovation, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy ( PhD), senior lecturer of WKITU Ekaterina Tikhonyuk, who studied under the Bolashak program in Ohio, USA, chairman of the Bolashak Association in the WKR Saltanat Tumanbaeva, acting the head of the communal state institution “Kogamdyk kelisim” Aigul Turkina. Guests of the event had a meaningful conversation with students, shared experiences and opinions on the development of human capital in the country, on training specialists with a globally competitive, high intellectual level.
Today university graduates, each of whom works fruitfully in different fields and makes a great contribution to the prosperity of an independent country, believe that Bolashak is a unique program that will allow everyone to broaden their horizons of knowledge and get an education at the best universities in the world. In general, the speakers said that any young person has the opportunity to win a Bolashak scholarship, answered students’ questions about what steps need to be taken for this, what to follow when passing the selection process, etc.
